♫ Reminder ♫

You know yesterday I had reached that point where I was frustrated and at that turning point to either I was going to unravel or decide to carry on and have peace in my heart - well there I was - It was just some of that regular mama/wife stuff.... I was just tired after a long day and well... Satan was on me like white on rice.
Then this song came on and it lifted my spirit and reminded me that even when the trash needs taken out, dinner isn't started (and needs to be), the baby is screaming and Pauly is hanging on my leg asking "movie?" "cookie?" "juice?" over and over and over - as my husband sits in his chair and reads ... that is the time to show grace and shine for him. Enjoy!

I love this song:

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

Refrain:
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long.

Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels, descending, bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.
Refrain (repeat)

Perfect submission, all is at rest,
I in my Savior am happy and blessed,
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.
Refrain (repeat)

Here is the link to the version that came on the radio.

Happy Day!

Oh I love that song. Isn't that cool when He puts a song in our heart that we NEED to hear:)

Thanks for the reminder that He is in control and we must shine for Him. I love that song too. God's timing is so perfect , isn't it?

What a lovely reminder. Displaying our faith isn't about the days when life is going beautifully (although we can do it then too) it's about those days when I want to tell someone to take a flying leap ... well, you get the idea. Thanks for sharing :) and reminding me that God has even those situations covered!
